LIVING IN "THE CREEK"

CLIENT BRIAN HIRAHARA OF BH DEVELOPMENT

Lesley Hunter Design was brought on board with Walnut Creek Art Education Association to curate a display at Main Street and Mt Diablo Blvd at the constructionn site of 1500 Mt Diablo Blvd. As a solution, Lesley proposed installing a 350' x 6' banner with a theme based on Art Bridge in NYC which were installing neighborhood-themed banners in New York on construction sites, to lessen the pain of having construction.  lesley named this project  "Living In The Creek". A call to artists went out, and the selection of work was done by a committee made up of Brian Hirahara, Walnut Creek Art Education Association, and the Bedford Gallery. All original work was scanned at high resolution and laid out, then printed on 13 gauge vinyl and installed.
