Bacchus does not show very often. Lisa took over for me again after my knee injury, and she does a wonderful job of presenting him.
We missed the 2024 BSCA Regional due to an injury, and we have only shown twice since the 2023 Regional, where he earned two Award's of Merit (AOM).
Well this year (2025) he earned two AOM's and a 5 pt major Select to finish his Grand Championship!
Going forward, Bacci is now almost 6 years old, and I'm looking back at how much we have accomplished.
We are a team, and their lives are short, so I think we might just have to stay with what we enjoy the most and keep deep diving into Scent Work, in both NACSW and AKC. We are 4 Q's out of 10 required for AKC Detective and we have a few trials lined up this fall. Fingers crossed!

At the Regional we had the pleasure of seeing our puppy, Oso bounce arou d the ring - what a great temperament on that boy, and it is very weird to see Bacci's quicks in him as well. He is one of the boys from the Paradise litter bred by Suzanne Parodi. All boys, all black, and all intact.
I watch their health, and temperaments, and they all seem to be doing well.
